Golden Hedge – for the perfect edge
By BGN Editor In Hedging and Screening, Hot News, Products On July 3, 2012
Looking for the perfect plant for a garden edge?
Syzygium Golden Hedge is a new native edging or small hedging plant. This small growing lillypilly displays striking old gold colour and soft, ruffled growth which makes this little lillypilly a stand out. When grown in full sun Golden Hedge grows to 1.5m high and 1.0m wide, making it the ideal plant for creating foliage edging along pathways, fences, driveways or garden beds. Golden Hedge
is also suitable for scenarios where a smaller neat hedge is required.
This new release exhibits dense, tight growth which responds very well to pruning. So don’t be afraid to give this little one a clip.
For a Golden Hedge or edge, in your garden, space plants 50-75cm apart for quick hedging results. Water well until established. For best results add a little fertiliser, and trim to required height and shape.
